At South Okanagan Assessment Program (SOAP), we are committed to ensuring that children with autism receive the early support and education they need to thrive. In partnership with Webb Community Foundation, we provide access to an experienced team including a Pediatrician and Speech and Language Pathologists (SLPs) who deliver comprehensive autism assessments and post-diagnostic information support at no cost to families facing financial hardship.

How Our Partnership Works:

  • Comprehensive Assessments: Our team conducts expert evaluations to identify speech, language and communication needs in children, which may be linked to autism or other neurodivergent conditions.
  •  Family Education: Families receive clear, compassionate guidance, helping them understand their child’s unique communication style, strengths, and areas for growth.
  •  Access for all: With funding from Webb Community Foundation, these essential services are available at no cost to families experiencing financial hardship.

Why This Partnership Matters:

Our partnership with Webb Community Foundation allows SOAP to provide timely, accessible support for children and families across our community. Together, we are ensuring early identification, effective intervention, and a deeper understanding of neurodiversity—helping children thrive and families grow stronger.
